Makers Inspiration Walk 2023 is subject to New Zealand laws and void where prohibited by law. Smith Fabric House t/a Miss Maude (Miss Maude) employees, its affiliates, suppliers, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively the “Employees”), are ineligible to participate in the competition

Agreement to rules

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Miss Maude reserves the right to disqualify entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements. You agree to accept the decisions of Miss Maude as final and binding as it relates to the content of the Makers Inspiration Walk 2023.

Giveaway entry period

The competition runs on 21 January 2023. To be eligible to win, entries must be received by 11.59pm 21 January 2023.

'Entries received' means the paper entry form.

How to enter

Complete the question on the form along with your contact details and place in the boxes located at Miss Maudes Store and Fabric a Brac in the Town Hall.

Prize 

There are three prizes of $200 Miss Maude store vouchers.

It will be valid for spending in store or online at www.missmaudesewing.co.nz.  It will remain valid until 21 January 2024.

The winner will be drawn at random from the entries received as detailed above.

The prize shall be determined solely by the Manager of the store. There shall be no cash or other prize substitution permitted except at the Managers discretion. The prize is non-transferable.  

Privacy policy

By entering this competition you give Smith Fabric House Ltd t/a Miss Maude the right to (re)post your image to Miss Maude Instagram and Facebook social media pages; and/or to use the image on the www.missmaudesewing.co.nz website for the express purpose of promoting the Miss Maude Store and associated products. Email addresses will be added to the Miss Maude and Fabric-a-brac databases. 

Fabric a brac will share these address with Hospice for the purpose of Fabric a brac updates. 

Odds

The total number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. 

Selection and Notification of Winner

The Winner will be selected by a random drawing under supervision of a witness. A Miss Maude employee will notify the Winner by email or phone call by 25 January 2023, following the winners selection. Miss Maude is not responsible for nor shall have any liability for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to the email or direct message going to your junk email or otherwise not being seen. Nor shall Miss Maude be liable for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

If the Winner 1) fails to claim the prize within [40 days] from the time the award notification was sent, or 2) is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected.
