The latest issue of Seamwork is yet another inspiring read. The focus this month, as the title so clearly states, is nightwear and lingerie - so it's no surprise the two patterns included in this issue are a gorgeous slip, Lisbon, and a luxurious robe, Almada. Each pattern can be sewn together in only two hours.
Along with the patterns, there are some inspiring articles on how to put your scraps to good use making lingerie, tips and tricks for sewing with delicate fabrics and there is even a recipe to make your own divine sounding rose lip scrub!
If you think you've got a spare couple of hours, and would like to try your hand at either the slip or kimono robe, I've got some lovely fabrics in stock that would be just perfect!
Try the Lisbon Slip is one of the Atelier Brunette woven modals. These fabrics have an amazing drape and are so light and silky - perfect for a little bedroom indulgence.
Or how about the Almada Robe in a light as air cotton batiste?
Oh, and they are perfect timing for Valentines day! What do you think?
